New Website and Logo

Hi everyone

Just a quick post to tell you all about the fantastic new CISFF website and logo.

After months of designing we are proud to announce that we have decided to name the CISFF CAM*ERA a play on the words Cambridge and Era. The new logo is now also complete and a preview is now displayed below:

Our website is now up online and full of information about how you can get involved whether it be as a helper, sponsor or submitting your film. To visit the site please go to www.cam-era.org.

You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you all for your continuing support and if you would like to get in contact, the address is info@cam-era.org.

The founding of the festival

Welcome to the blog of the first annual Cambridge International Student Film Festival 2010!

The festival will take place on the weekend of the 18th/19th/20th of June 2010 and aims to promote and showcase student films from all over the world. There are going to be workshops, talks, screenings and many exciting events connected to film making.

We are the first international student led Film Festival in the UK and this going to be an amazing chance for you to get involved with something tangible that will really put Cambridge on the map as one of the student film-making capitals of the country, if not world! Your involvement will not only look great on your CV, but it will give you a not-to-be-missed opportunity to meet lots of interesting people and work with resources other festival managers can only dream of!

We are aiming to get the whole team involved in the blogging as soon as possible so hopefully you will be able to read about our progress with the festival in the weeks and months ahead. The festival is 100% run and organised by students, so I am sure there will be many crazy entries very soon- check back often! :-)

We are looking forward to keeping you up to date in the next months!
